Home cooking at its best

James Maddox runs the café and has built a strong reputation for the quality of his home cooked cakes, cream teas, quiches and salad and toasted sandwiches plus, of course, teas, coffees and soft drinks (see full menu below).

Ample seating is available, inside and outside and the café is open to customers, whether you choose to go round the garden or not.

Booking is not required although large groups are encouraged to let James know in advance particularly if anyone has any special dietary requirements.

Plant Nursery

After a lull during the pandemic, we are keen to stock the nursery with a good selection of plants, many grown in our garden.

We have developed the area - it looks very different to the image on the right - and we will update a new photo shortly.

So, come in and take a look around - and perhaps take home one of the many plants we have to offer.
